We are excited to be holding a very special Mother's Day weaving workshop at Maitland Regional Art Gallery this Sunday 8 May.
This is a hands-on session and has been designed to provide an understanding of Aboriginal weaving, the purpose, process and various techniques.
Mum's, their families and friends will make some weaving to take home with them while having conversations and connecting with local community.
This workshop is part of the public programs for our Maitland Cultural Resurgence exhibition which is on display until Sunday 15 May 2022.
Booking are essential : http://ow.ly/aIEx50IYLVA
