We are pleased to be able to host free cultural camps for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and youth thanks to sponsorship from Regional NSW. Bookings are closed for the youth camp and spaces are limited for women's camp, here is what you need to know.

Cultural camp for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women 

Where: Glenrock Lagoon
When: Friday 21 to Sunday 23 April 2023
To be eligible: Women who identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander are welcome to apply.
 
Why should you attend this amazing Cultural experience?
  • Connect and learn from local cultural teachers and Elders
  • Have cultural opportunities to learn about and participate in: Aboriginal weaving, Aboriginal dance, learning how to use native pigments to dye fibers, learn about land management and making Possum Skin Cloaks
  • Participate in employment readiness activities, such as resume building
  • Participate in panel discussions about becoming job ready and securing a job
  • Meet other likeminded budding Aboriginal women and mentors
  • Hear from key community members and be inspired by their personal stories and journeys
