We believe in the importance of increasing the school attendance of Aboriginal children, which is one of the NSW Premiere’s Priorities. That’s why we devote part of our revenue from corporate contracts to directly fund our social impact program and we are always looking for corporate partners to extend our impact.
Through this program we offer the opportunity for hundreds of Aboriginal students and community members to learn about Aboriginal cultural practices, such as weaving, possum skin cloak sewing and artefact making.
Annually we work towards a major exhibition where each participant of the program is included in the catalogue. Senior students are then invited to our annual cultural camps, helping create a regional alumni. We want to work with organisations and schools to be brave together.
Here is a video of the cultural camp we recently hosted with support from NSW Landcare at Glenrock State Conservation Area.
